In an interview with English news channel the queen of Jaipur, Padmini Devi had told that their family is a descendant of Lord Ram. On August 15, 1947, the monarchy was over with the independence from the British. Many of the Raj families are still known for their fame and the people over that area consider them as their king. This Jaipur Raj Gharana is known for the same. In the interview, Padmini Devi informed that they belong to the family of Kush who was the son of Lord Ram. Her husband who was the former King of Jaipur, Bhawani Singh was a 309th descendant of Kush.

King Mansingh was born on August 21, 1912, had three marriages in his life. His first marriage took place at the age of 12 in 1924 with the sister of King Sumer Singh of Jodhpur. Her name was Marudhar.

Mansingh’s second marriage took place with his first wife’s niece Kishor Kanwar in 1932. After that, he married to Gayatri Devi in 1932.
